Because Huemul Travel is based in El Chaltén, your transfer starts from our home town. Tell us where you are staying and when you need to arrive, and we plan the departure with you.
We collect you from hotels, apartments, or the bus terminal in El Chaltén and drop you at your address in El Calafate, the airport, or the terminal. Say so if you are connecting to a flight and we will build the day with margin.
Scenic stops along the way can be requested when you book; whether they are possible depends on timing, weather and road conditions. So that we assign the right vehicle, tell us the number of passengers, suitcases, trekking packs, and any special equipment you are carrying.
Our transfers are private unless the booking confirmation specifically states that the service is shared. A private transfer reserves the vehicle for your group and allows the departure time and pickup location to be arranged around your itinerary.
We can normally arrange pickup from hotels, apartments, bus terminals, airports, trailheads, and other approved locations within the service area. Your exact pickup and drop-off points will be confirmed before the transfer.
Standard suitcases, trekking backpacks, photography equipment, and outdoor gear can normally be transported. Please tell us the number of passengers and the amount of luggage before booking so we can assign a suitable vehicle.
Send us your travel date, preferred departure time, passenger count, pickup location, destination, and luggage requirements. We will confirm availability, the complete price, and the booking conditions before payment.
Child seats may be available when requested in advance. Please provide the child’s age and approximate weight when making your reservation so we can confirm the appropriate seat.
Your cancellation conditions will be provided before the booking is confirmed. The amount refunded may depend on how far in advance the cancellation is requested and whether the vehicle has already been assigned.
